We are delighted to welcome back Dominic Grier to conduct the CSO in an exciting concert of English music featuring french horn player and 2020 BBC Young Musician finalist, Annemarie Federle. Annemarie has also recently been appointed Principal Horn of the London Philharmonic Orchestra.

Annemarie will perform Ruth Gipps' Horn Concerto which she performed in the final with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and BBC Four.

After the interval, the CSO will perform the magnificent first symphony by Edward Elgar. Acknowledged as a masterpiece, Elgar’s First remains arguably the finest symphony ever written by a British composer.
