Fresh from their recent sell out concert at the Turner Sims Concert hall, don't miss the City of Southampton Orchestra under their conductor John Traill for a wonderful evening of British Music at Thornden Hall.

We will begin with Holst’s sumptuously evocative ballet music to The Perfect Fool. We then welcome our friend and virtuoso violinist extraordinaire, Charlie Lovell-Jones, to play Walton’s magnificent Violin Concerto. Concluding the evening, we will perform the atmospheric Symphony No.2 celebrating London, the chosen town of that quintessentially English composer, Ralph Vaughan Williams.
