Concert day schedule:

13:00 stage setup - this needs representatives from each section
14:00 - 14:30 Strings: Shostakovich
14:30 - 15:45 All: Tchaikovsky
15:45 - 16:00 Break
16:00 - 17:00 Winds: Stravinsky with David
17:00 Rehearsal end
19:30 CONCERT
21:30 (approx) packup stage area, percussion and chairs. It would be helpful if everyone could do a little bit to help either with setup or packing away so it is not left to just a few. If you are not sure - please come and ask.
Concert Day Help Needed:

Percussion Moving Team - needed for Saturday morning to move from Tauntons to Turner Sims and back again on the Sunday morning. Please liaise with Pete Hackston on 1st horn.

Front of House / Ushers - to meet and greet; sell concert programmes; ushers in auditorium. They need to be in the auditorium for a briefing at 18:30.

Soloist Taxi - can anyone give David a lift back to Southampton Central station as soon as the concert has finished as he needs to catch a train at 10pm?
Concert Day Logistics:

Green Rooms - the small green room to the right of the auditorium area is available but space is tight in there. We will also have the use of building 56 (next door) from 1pm. This can be used for cases, bags; somewhere to sit, eat, change. Cases and belongings can be left there during the concert and the building will be locked. We will have a couple of access cards. Cases etc can be moved to the normal green room but please be considerate as this often gets very congested.

Refreshments - the coffee shop in the auditorium will be open in our break and 1 hour before the concert

Concert dress - all black; small handbags (if needed on stage).

Bring

own music stands are needed

stand lights - if you have your own please bring. We have some but not enough for everyone.

wind / brass - drip cloths

Music Return:

Please remove marks that you have made and music ideally should be returned on the night.
